Mr Mykula has carried out plastic surgery on my scalp and nose on different occasions to excise melanoma and basil cell carcinoma lesions. I'm an elderly 88 year old patient Both operations were remarkably successful and performed with great skill. He is a very courteous and friendly Consultant and explained clearly what was involved in each operation, and the recovery phase afterwards. There is no doubt that Mr Mykula is a very accomplished, talented and experienced Surgeon. I will use his services again, if the need should ever arise, and have no hesitation in recommending him to other patients in need of surgical support.

As soon as I met Mr Mykula on my first consultation I felt all was not lost as he gave me such confidence. I was so fortunate to have been referred to him. I had an eight hour operation during which he removed a malignant melanoma from my neck. I had many stitches but everything is now healing beautifully. At the end of the operation he rang my daughter to tell her all was well which was greatly appreciated by her, as also were his daily visits to me during the five days I was in hospital. Throughout the whole ordeal, I never once lost confidence that all would be well, and this is entirely due to him. He is a truly wonderful, highly skilled surgeon and I feel truly blessed to have been in his care.

Mykula undertook the reconstruction work on my face when I had a tumour removed from my parotid gland. The nerve transplant has been amazing and has given me good symmetry and facial movement. Alongside his technical abilities he has been a huge support throughout the journey. Always positive and looking for solutions to get to the best possible outcome. I would highly recommend.

Mr Mykula is an extremely skilled and conscientious surgeon, and from the start of my various treatments for skin cancer on my face and scalp (3 squamous cell carcinomas, 3 basal cell carcinomas, and counting) he has inspired complete trust in me. Indeed the more he does to me, the more I trust him! I cannot recommend Mr. Roman Mykula highly enough. From my very first meeting he was so approachable, knowledgeable and so very kind, listening to worries and every possible kind of query about the very complicated plastic reconstruction he was going to undertake after my excellent cancer surgeon had removed a difficult bowel tumour. It was an 11 hour plus operation, which at almost 82 years of age is no "walk in the park", but Mr. Mykula and his amazing team kept a very close eye on my progress in hospital, then this wonderful man has kept an extremely vigilant watch on the healing of my wounds thereafter. He inspires huge confidence from the word go and I have no hesitation in recommending him 100%.

Mr Mykula is an absolute professional in every way. His knowledge is incredible, his experience, bedside manner, positive and friendly personality makes you feel relaxed and at ease and reassured. I first went to Mr Mykula as a recommendation of his excellent work and results and I wasn't disappointed. A mole removal on the middle Of my face which I was extremely nervous about turned into such a positive experience. I am also left with an unnoticeable scar thanks to his technique and skills. My Mykula is an incredible person not just an incredible surgeon. He is humble and absolutely loves his job. He treats you like you have known him for years and has a wonderful aura about him. Going through a cancer diagnosis is an awful thing to have to deal with, Mr Mykula gives you every bit of information you need and gives you total comfort in his ability. Coming out of my first consultation with him made a complete difference to how i looked at my cancer diagnosis. The surgery since has proven his words true, he has done an incredible job of my facial restructuring, he also made sure that he checked me thoroughly on other areas of my body where Melonomas were found. These were previously missed by a dermatologist and the first surgeon that i was sent to. The man is a genius, i owe him so much. Thank you Mr Mykula

I was referred to Mr Mykula via my dermatologist. Mr Mykula listens to his patients and then offers clear explanations of treatment options. He is calm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He gives you plenty of time. His team are also wonderful. Secretary, Zoe is so professional and lovely to deal with, as were the nurses who assisted at the procedure. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

It is not often I write reviews, however I have been extremely fortunate to have had Roman Mykula as a consultant for several years as I have been plagued by re-occurring skin cancer related issues, resulting in various surgical treatments the most recent a wide incision on my left knee. Mr Mykula is without doubt a consultant in a class of his own his professionalism, bedside manner and surgical skills are nothing short of fantastic and I cannot thank him enough. He is a consultant/surgeon I would have no hesitation in recommending. His admin support led by Zoe is also first class, together with the team at the Nuffield Manor, Oxford, my care has been beyond expectations. My sincere thanks for everything.

Mr Mykula was very straightforward and helpful, explained everyting very clearly and took time to listen. His work involved a 10-hour cancer operation and I was delighted with the result, cosmeticaly, physically and psychologically. I cannot recommend Mr Mykula enough - he has been so caring, listening and understanding. He listens and actions every concern of yours. Mr Mykula performed quite extensive head and neck surgery on me and my scars have healed so amazing, some of them aren't even visible - and that's only 3 months after! He really listens and wants to do best what's right for you. He always puts the patient first. Can't recommend enough!
